Barrier-free Mindsets and the Approach to Reasonable Accommodation

The “barrier-free mindset” that was initiated by the Universal Design 2020 Action Plan differs from the usual “benevolence by being thoughtful for persons with disabilities”. To understand the new barrier-free mindset, an approach to reasonable accommodation—part of the Act for Eliminating Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities—is taken.
