  2. About 7 minutes on foot foot About 400 meters Travel Tips Wheelchair users should note that the elevator exits at Otemachi Station are different for each subway line. The exits are D6 for the Toei Mita Line, A5 for the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line, B2c for the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line (from the Central East Gate), and C14 for the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line (from the Central Gate). Use these exits to get from the platform to the ground level easily.

    The portion of the slope toward the Honmaru (inner keep) next to the Obansho Guardhouse is relatively gradual. The Ninomaru Garden has many smooth paths.

    Wadakura Fountain Park

    This is a beautiful park with a group of large fountains at its center.The large fountains was built in 1961 to commemorate the marriage of the Emperor and Empress Emeritus, and Wadakura Fountain Park was completed in 1995. It contains inscriptions of poetry composed by His Majesty, a coffee shop, and more.
