A riding course that goes all around Inagi City. Starting from Inagi Information Base Pear Terrace, it takes you on a 12.9-km-long tour in Misawa River Sakura Corridor, which is about 1.7 km long, with 280 cherry trees planted along the way, including Somei Yoshino. And Tamagawa Cycling Course, a course from the Tokyo 2020 Games. The robot anime character monuments along the way are a must-see!

OGASAWARA VILLAGE, CHICHIJIMA ISLAND11.0 km course
The setting for this riding course is Chichijima Island, part of the famous Ogasawara Islands World Natural Heritage Site.
The route takes you along the seafront past the Seihyo and Omura Coasts and other marine delights, then leaves the more towny areas for mountainous country, where highlights like Miyanohama and Nagasaki Observatory await. It's around 11.0 km long in all.

One of the metropolis's 11 inhabited islands and a member of the Izu Archipelago, Hachijojima Island is an hour from mainland Tokyo. This course takes you right across its northern half. Its 19.1 km or so thoroughly showcase what a wonderful island Hachijojima is, with Nambara Senjoiwa Coast, Okoshi Aloe Garden, and Nagatomo Road among the many highlights you'll see. The tropical scenery is out of this world!

Photo Contest Overview
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is holding "EXCITEMENT TOKYO," a special campaign to show as many people as possible how amazing Tokyo truly is by taking courses all around the metropolis and bringing them to life in VR through the magic of digital technology. The virtual course for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Marathon created last year is joined this year by five new ones that've been developed to showcase the following areas: Inagi City, Ogasawara Village / Chichijima Island, Koto City, Sumida City, and Hachijojima Island.
"EXCITEMENT TOKYO Photo Contest" is running again this year as part of this campaign, so we'll be calling on everyone to send in shots that show what makes Tokyo so great. This time round, we're going to ask for entries in two categories: "tourist spot" and "virtual course."
The "tourist spot category" is for photographs that convey the charm of—or capture exciting moments in—the areas where the five newly created courses are set (Inagi City, Ogasawara Village / Chichijima Island, Koto City, Sumida City, and Hachijojima Island). Please send us photos that'll make people want to visit them all.

- A virtual sports app where your avatar travels through courses created in a virtual space. The courses are created using videos of the actual ones, and are amazingly immersive. You can experience both cycling and running.

Application Precautions
- ・Participants can post photos as often as you like. However, photos that look alike may be excluded from judging.
- ・You can submit either color or black and white photos. However, you cannot submit edited images, such as digital collages.
- ・There are no restrictions on camera models or image formats. We recommend that you use photos that are 1024 pixels (long sides).
- ・You may not submit photos that could infringe on third parties' rights (copyrights/portrait rights).
- ・The management office is not responsible for any problems that occur with photographs you submit.
- ・You are prohibited from submitting photos that violate public order and morality, depict political or religious activities, or are related to advertising.
- ・The photos you submit will be used free of charge for the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's advertising, marketing, etc. in places like websites, social networking services, posters, and events.
- ・All rights to use the photos—including possibly trimming them and changing the colors for printing and other uses—belong to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
- ・The management office may remove photos applicants have submitted from the site without giving any notice.
- ・Applicants must comply with the management office's operations (including how to choose photos to use, and others) and shall not object in any way to said operations.
- ・This website is subject to change or termination without notice.
