Although the names of the guest rooms differ for each lodging facility, including being called a barrier-free room or universal room, they all meet the following criteria for guest rooms that accommodate persons in wheelchairs, based on the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s Welfare-friendly Town Development Ordinance and Barrier-free Building Ordinance.
